A whole store, not a page
The client decorates garments for businesses and wanted a complete online store: a full catalogue, a page for every garment, and a way to design and price an order without emailing anyone. It is one of the largest projects I have worked on.
I am designing the customer side: the catalogue, the garment pages, the order builder and the quick quote.
Prices without people
Every price comes straight from the pricing logic. Nobody prices an order by hand and there is no account manager in the loop, so a customer can go from browsing to paying in one sitting. After payment they see the name of the person looking after their order.
The order builder walks through garment, colour, print areas and sizes, and the quote updates with every choice, so the price is never a surprise at the end.
A fast lane for people who know what they want
Not everyone wants to design on screen. The quick quote asks four questions and returns a price per piece, with decoration included, and the order can start from there.
Keeping a big build steady
A project this size changes as it goes. I log every decision, however small, with who made it and when, so the design and the build keep moving when the brief moves.
Why there are no screens
The platform is still in development and the client's name is confidential, so the visuals on this page are simplified prototypes of the layouts, with no client branding or real data. I'm happy to walk through the actual work on a call.
